  • After 45 days, resident can apply for Phase 2

Advancement criteria To move from Phase 1 → Phase 2:
  • Have a sponsor
  • Consistent curfew adherence
  • Pass 24 drug tests
  • Be employed
  • Attend all required meetings
  • Adhere to chores, rules, and regulations
  • Complete the 12 steps with a sponsor
  • Establish a home group
To move from Phase 2 → Phase 3:
  • Have a service commitment
  • 9 months residency
  • Sponsoring others
  • Consistent employment and job history
  • No more than 6 missed drug tests in 6 months
  • Attend all required meetings
  • Adhere to chores, rules, and regulations
  • Consistent curfew adherence
  • Progression is based on how a resident is working a program of recovery, not only time in the home
  • House managers use best judgment on phase progress
Overnight passes
  • No overnight stays in the first 30 days unless approved in advance
  • Overnight passes are submitted via the Resident App and approved/denied via the Manager App
  • No overnight passes if there is a program fee balance
  • Maximum overnight passes: 2 per month
  • No more than 3 nights away in a seven-day period without reasonable cause and prior approval

How we support you: weekly house meetings; routine drug/alcohol screening; milestone-based progress; 24/7 on-site staff; pet-friendly guidelines (vaccinations, cleanliness, considerate noise); and optional IOP to reinforce steady routines.

Pet Policy & Requirements — The Pet‑Friendly Unit ($1,200/mo)

Permitted Pet

  • The Resident may keep one (1) dog, not to exceed 35 pounds full-grown.
  • No other pets (including additional dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, or birds) are allowed unless approved in writing by Eudaimonia Recovery Homes.

Breed Restrictions

For safety reasons, the following breeds (including mixes thereof) are not permitted under any circumstances:

  • Pit Bull (American Staffordshire Terrier)
  • Rottweiler
  • Doberman Pinscher
  • German Shepherd
  • Akita
  • Chow Chow
  • Presa Canario
  • Wolf hybrids or other aggressive breeds as determined at Eudaimonia Recovery Homes’ sole discretion

Pet Deposit

  • $200 non‑refundable pet deposit due prior to move‑in.
  • Deposit helps cover potential pet‑related damage and cleaning after discharge.

Pet Behavior & Resident Responsibility

  • The dog must be kenneled or crated any time the Resident is not at home.
  • The dog must not be left unattended outside or tied up in any common areas.
  • Resident must immediately clean up pet waste and dispose of it properly.
  • The dog must be leashed at all times when outside the sober living apartment.
  • Barking or disruptive behavior must be corrected promptly to avoid nuisance to other residents.

Pet Health & Documentation

  • Dog must be up to date on vaccinations (including rabies and distemper).
  • Eudaimonia Recovery Homes may request proof of current vaccination records at any time.
  • Dog must comply with all local ordinances and licensing requirements.

Note: Pet privileges are an add‑on to the standard house rules and may be revoked for repeated violations. Written approval and a signed pet addendum are required prior to move‑in.
