Touring Quail Meadow's Women Sober Living Home — Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule a tour?

Use the “Book a Tour” button to pick an in-person time. You’ll get a confirmation by text/email with directions and parking tips.

How long does a tour take?

Most tours take about 20–30 minutes.

What will I see on the tour?

You’ll see the common areas, kitchen, laundry, shared bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor spaces, and where house meetings are held. We’ll also explain rules, phasing, and accountability.

What should I bring to the tour?

Bring a list of questions, and anyone you want involved in the decision (sponsor, family member, or case manager). You don’t need to bring luggage to the tour.

Who can come with me?

You’re welcome to bring one or two support people such as a family member, sponsor, or friend. Please let us know in advance so we can plan for space and privacy.

Is the home women-only or men-only?

Homes are gender-specific. This location is for women only.

What questions should I ask during the tour?

Ask about curfew, meeting requirements, drug testing, roommate matching, chores, phasing and privileges, transportation, and what’s included in the monthly fees.

Can I take photos or videos?

Yes, you can take photos of common areas. For resident privacy, we don’t allow photos or videos in occupied bedrooms or bathrooms unless they’re vacant during your visit.

What about privacy and safety?

Tours avoid filming residents and sensitive areas. Safety policies include regular drug and alcohol testing, house rules, and on-site staff support.

Is there a fee to tour?

No. Tours are completely free, and there’s no obligation to apply afterward.

How soon can I move in after the tour?

If a bed is available and you qualify, you may be able to move in the same day or within a few days. Timing depends on current availability and your readiness.

What’s required to apply after the tour?

You’ll need to complete a short application, basic screening, agree to house rules, and pay any required deposit or fees. We’ll walk you through everything at the end of your tour.

What does the monthly rate include?

Your monthly rate includes furnished housing, utilities, Wi-Fi, access to a shared kitchen and laundry, house meetings, structure, and accountability. Treatment services like IOP are separate if you choose to add them.

Do you accept insurance?

Housing is typically private-pay. If you participate in outpatient services, your insurance may help cover clinical costs depending on your benefits.

Is the home accessible?

Some homes may have steps or narrow doorways. Let us know about any mobility needs so we can recommend the best fit and plan your tour accordingly.

Where do I park and how do I find the entrance?

Your confirmation message includes the exact address, parking instructions, and which door to use. If you’re running late, you can text us on the way.

What if I’m not in active treatment right now?

That is ok. As long as you are not in withdrawal, we can help. Sober living provides structure and accountability but is not a clinical program. If you’re not in treatment, we can connect you with local meeting lists or outpatient programs to support your recovery.
